the one with a coffee break

I'm renewing up this old blog favorite you can read aboutHERE,hereandHEREand I'm sure at least 2 or 3 more times, but I got lazy and didn't want to link to all of them. You can do a search up there on the top right. Just type in "coffee break" if I'm really that interesting. I'm guessing no.

But something I have very little of and always fret about these days,

TIME.

So, during my coffee breaks I love to read blogs. You've heard me mention dooce and Pioneer Woman among others I love. Well, I have a new maddness this week. And no, it's not for everyone, but I read her and she makes me laugh and even better, makes me want to drive to her house and kidnap her for a roadtrip. She'd make the BEST buddy in the car, don't you think?

Yes. That's love.

So, I thought I would share the link with you.

But it's not her home page link. It's the post that made me LOL at my video store and get started at by a strange lottery playing dude. (don't go there, it's a bad week.)

CLICK HEREbut be warned, she's a bit vulgar.

And after you laugh your butt off on that one you can thank me and then click her home page and read some more.

HAIR

I struggle with what to do with mine. Maybe I should let it grow out one more time before I shrivel up and die? Maybe I should be brave and go all cute ultra hip JULIE, and chop it. The problem? It grows fast, yet loses it's shape. So, I get it so far and then look at the wrinkles around my eyes and think, I can't stand it anymore. And then if that darn Jennifer Aniston from those re-runs of Friends would just stay out of my brain, I probably wouldn't even care. But I can't a re-run and think, long and straight. Which failing to remember we share nothing alike.

Nothing.

Okay, mabye our fondness for Brad. But that's been years. And we've both moved on.

OCT 1

I get to work with Toni. Don'g a happy dance on that one. We always have a good time. Always. And my Oct. 1 bride needs 2 shooters, so who do I call? Of course, Toni. I'm sure we'll photobomb aplenty at that Texas Hoe Down, so stay tuned for sure. Not too mention will create some KICK BUTT photos that will wow the world and book my 2013 solid!

MY HOUSE

Anyone else feel like it's never done? You read house blogs, watch HGTV and even though I love it, it's never complete. Like hello, hang more pictures, or geez...go out and buy a shell or something aqua. Paint or stain something. I've done a few things, but not everything I want to do and darn it, everything I want to do costs too much money. And with a kid heading to college next year, that's not something I'm ready to let go of too easily. It's called, FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN.

I pin ideas on www.pinterest.com and just go crazy with them in my head, but there's always so much else to do, you know, those Friends re-runs, that I never get started. I think I'll set a goal, or at least an alarm on my iPhone to see if I can't get something done.

Something likeTHISis what's really in my head. For above my bed, but then how do I attach it to my stone wall? Anyone know? If so, leave me a link comment so you can clue this girl in. I'd like to take the maps and print them in sepia and frame in some pretty matted frames.

DESIGN

I'm always interested in creating a logo and new design for ME. For that photographer lady with her camera. I hesitate for one, because of the expense, and for two, I just don't know if there's a way to fit me and what I do in a design. I mean, I can't commit to a pillow or fabric for my windows, what makes me think I'll like a logo or web site?

But viewing THESE guy's work, I was sold. HARD. Everything they do just feeds my soul visually. I love it! Check them out and just dream about possibilities. I love their page opener on their site. Maybe I could commit to something. After all, not committing means something's out there on your site, making you seem like you are committing. You know?

***** Okay, I just visually checked this blog post and realize I should paint my side tables I found on craigslist a year after we moved in. What color? See? Commitment.

I vote white.

Love,
