A Fun Lubbock Portrait Session with Congressman and Mrs. Neugebauer at the Overton Hotel in Lubbock

It's been a while!

We were supposed to photograph this session around November, but between their busy schedules and my weddings, we ran out of time. So, here we are in HOT STICKY WINDY JUNE, photographing on limited time.

People in public service have to have IMMENSE pools of energy to go and go like they do with their lives scheduled down to the wire. It's inspiring and definitely an eye opener! Working with these two over the years and showed me just how hard our Congressmen and women work.

We chose the fantastic Overton Hotel for a meeting place after The Old Allen Farmhouse was placed off limits to photographers. It seems someone tipped over the out house last time they photographed a family out there and ruined it for all of us. Oh, you can still use the place, but you have to rent it first. The night before, I had photographed the lovely Jen Chase there in her bridal gown, so when I worked the light in the lobby, I knew it would work for these two.

Wide open space, not alot of traffic at 9 AM and plenty of parking.

They did AWESOME!

Until next time, Congressman.
