Anyssa, Senior 2011

I hardly recognized her. But then again, I never saw her much in "civilian clothes". That what we call the clothes we rarely spend much time in when we play soccer, basketball or any sport for that matter. You spend your life changing in the back of mini vans and Yukons. You travel on weekends and plan your vacations around the next tournament. That's how I knew Anyssa. Her and Kalyn played for Lonestar Soccer for years. Kalyn hasn't touched a soccer ball in 2 years. It's probably been that long for Anyssa, too.

But gosh! Just look what 2 years has done to this girl! BEAUTIFUL!!!

We spent a couple of hours catching up on her life and I was impressed with where her head and heart are. You can take the girl out of soccer, but you can't take soccer out of the girl!

Go for your dreams, Anyssa! Never stop and one day, you'll find yourself living them.
