the one with the new boys basketball coach at Cooper

His name is Coach Bridges. And I had been hearing alot of buzz about him from the parent's the students. I had met him for the first time, sidelines of the football games. And then again, in the back hallway between the gyms. He's a nice guy. He's wound a bit tight, I though, perhaps, but after witnessing his mad coaching skills last night, I know why.

The man is passionate about basketball! HELLO! Mad passionate! I was impressed how he stood courtside for ALL the boys games. And he never missed an opportunity to praise the players. Even down to the kids playing street ball in the hallway. See, I was back and forth between 5 games last night and he was there the ENTIRE time. I think the man really likes his job.

And the boys looked good. We had a buzzer beater game in the back gym with the JV and I got to watch Braxton play for just a bit. That was cool. I know he's worked hard to play ball at Cooper so it's always good to see a Bednarz take the court.

Varsity looked GREAT with the press and just their intensity of the game! Boys can jump and move so much faster than girls! WOW! The energy you feel courtside with Coach Bridges and the team is AWESOME! I'll definitely photograph some more.
