All that driving today?
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it!
Today was a long day. Today was a fun day. Today, was VERY rewarding inspiration wise. I love shooting in new places, and today I had THE BEST tour guide for a WONDERFUL day of shooting. Houston and Brooke are getting married early next year, and today they entertained me with good conversation and wonderful locations that not only mean something to them, they are darn cool to be at. PERIOD. Even if I didn't have my cameras in hand.
Just see for yourself.
LOVE THESE!
We started at an office complex in Midland that had beautiful light. It simply begged for someone to sit in and lucky for me, I had a couple that was up for anything.
Next, we ventured to some historical places in little ole' Midland, USA and no, it wasn't George Bush's childhood home. There was potential every where we turned. And as we walked places, Houston filled me in on all the backstories and kept me interested in the why of things. I love that! I'm no history buff, but someone the conversations didn't feel like history, they felt like stories.
HELLO! Total hotness on these peeps! TOTAL! Oh, but we were just getting started!
After photographing our "city shots", we hopped in the Ford and made a road trip to a ranch. A beautiful ranch! I loved the rocks and every time I walked around I'd see endless possibilities! This shot below is one of my favs from the day! She's beautiful, she's with her man, he's easy on the eyes and I just love the creamy background!!!
In the course of just a few minutes, we went from streaming sun to rain clouds that were very welcome from us. I LOVED them!
As if the ranch was not enough, we finished at a location that I've always wanted to photograph, but never had the opportunity. I'm so glad we did! Just take a look at these images!!!! HELLO!
YUM FACTOR is almost EXCEEDED!!!
Brooke, Houston? Thank you for such a wonderful day! You two were awesome! Houston, keep that 007 power Mister and you'll never have trouble. HA!
