the one where we light up the night for HOCO15

Coach Kat spoke about community last night and this photo above, with this precious little Red Raider on his daddy's neck?  I love!  I was walking over from the Lady Pirate Alumni Game and followed this sweet little family to the "Light up the Night" festivities.  Pretty cute, huh?

As long as I've been at Cooper, we've had the Thursday night kick off.  They let the Seniors light up the school letters and the kids all mount fire trucks and make their way to the crowd.  Last night it was still warm, but there's been plenty of nights we've worn coats and boots.  The athletes make their way through the crowd and everyone cheers and yells. The band plays and the drummers?  They really get the crowd going!  It's just a fun night!
