the one where Stephanie + Jonathan get hitched out at Cotton Creek

Stephanie and Jonathan were married at Cotton Creek a little over a week ago. I had never photographed a wedding at Cotton Creek. And now that I have, I hope to be out there again. What a great venue that close to Lubbock! It is rustic, but it's hard not to be rustic in a land when the wind blows dirt. HELLO! West Texas! But there was no dirt blowing on their big day. Just rain. And then right when they were headed out for the "First Look", the sun came out from behind the clouds and HEATED UP THE PLACE! Either it did, or Stephanie in that gown! Can you say, HOTTIE?!?!?! She looked AWESOME! I'll have to share her bridals with you in just a bit.

First, I need to mention a new editing processes I was playing with on this sneak peek. Not completely sure I'm sold on it yet, I mean, for like EVERYTHING. But for this couple? For this wedding day sneak peek? I think it works.

What was the most memorable moment of the day?

Stephanie, the whole ceremony was just so special and personalized for each of us. And taking communion together as my husband prayed over me and we joined together for that first time. Got me all teared up! It was Just too cool.

Jonathan, when I turned around and saw her for our first look and when our parents prayed over us after she walked down the aisle!

Future Advice: Just to Enjoy your wedding day. Don't stress and enjoy your time with each other and everyone who is there just for you!

Funniest Memory: The grooms having a pre-wedding photo shoot and using our wedding hashtag. The bridesmaids and I all got a good laugh out of it before the wedding!

If you could change anything? It was absolutely beautiful and it's amazing because as big of a deal all the little things are before the wedding. During the wedding you're just so happy and feel so loved. It was absolutely perfect!
