the one with my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS EF (USM) for sale
Yep. You read that right. I'm selling myCanon 70-200 f/2.8 IS EF USM.
She's for sale. This little beauty has served me well! Very well. I first bought her in 2003 when my business launched full time. I needed a good all purpose lens that I could use for ANYTHING. And that's been exactly how she's behaved. She will shoot ANYTHING. And she does it very well! And I've never wanted a new one.
At least not until I purchased my new camera early this year. The new 70-200 improves with increased speed and optical quality for the newer digital camera bodies. So, it's time.
I paid $1649.95 for her "back in the day" and I'm asking for $900. She's got some wear and tear on her, like me. But she works great! And all my gear gets sent to the "doctor" for physicals now and again. Everything works on her. The IS works, the auto focus, all of it. And all the images you see on my blog recently, the majority have come from this lens. She's that good, I'm telling you! She does have a few scratches on the lens. But they've never caused a single problem for me. And the rubber on the mount has it's nicks as well. She's been used, but not abused. She goes to bed every night in her soft squishy section of my camera box. Always sleeping at room temperature except when she's in the overhead of a plane. She's never been checked in the belly, EVER. I just don't roll that way. Not that she can't handle some extreme temps! This baby has photographed hundreds of Pirate Games in her lifetime. Indoors, outdoors, you name it. She's up for some more, too. Or weddings, babies, kids. Whatever you are up for, she's up for. I'm just hoping her replacement is up to it as well.
Look her over and let me know if you are interested. If you are local, you are welcome to come visit her in person.
Love Does,
Kristin
I didn't dust her off before photographing her, but you can see the scratch I mentioned. Most of the rubbed off black is from riding in my shoot sac at over 200 weddings! WOW!
