the one where Madison turns 13

I received this text one night, late. I think it was even after 9:00 PM.

"Hey pretty lady, would you have any time to photograph Madison tomorrow afternoon? She's turning 13 and I just wanted to get some photos taken of her!"

Um, flattery will get you EVERYWHERE with me these days, because HELLO! I took these the next night. Madison impressed me. GREATLY. She impressed me with her presence of strength and beauty and then again, with her composure and how well she held herself. She's 13, I kept telling myself as I looked through the lens. THIRTEEN. Just wow!
