the one with Shawn + Jessica's wedding
I'm home from Midland. Where I photographed an AMAZING wedding! And I just showed showed Darcee, the puppy, to her new parents. She's staying a BEDNARZ and I couldn't be happier! Our friends (and family) Jane + Bill are taking her home to live with them. So, I'm currently out of "puppies for sale". LOL
I had the BEST wedding yesterday. There were so many beautiful details. So many real moments. I started the day with the girls, as usual and kept rolling until almost midnight! The DJ was great! The wedding part was great! The dancing was great! Oh, and I shared a photo on Instagram of the food last night and even it was GREAT!
Oh, for for sure, this diamond was AMAZEBALLS! HELLO! Pretty diamond! Wish I was wearing you! Did you see that sucker above? I was in love! And Jessica is a giver and I caught her off by herself handwriting a few cards for some special peeps in her life. On her wedding day, she took special care to make sure everyone had what they needed and were loved. She's that kind of friend.
All the girls chilled at her home all day before heading to the wedding. Lots of love in the house all day! Lots of sass too! These girls talked and talked and talked! I loved it! Gave me a glimpse of what my days may be like with my girls.
Ashlee Rice did makeup and I've worked with her before. Her hands are gorgeous to photograph! L O V E! I was with Jess's sister when she hand delivered a note to the groom, Shawn from Jess. So sweet! That's what I meant before about Jess, she totally cares. Big heart on this one!
Of course we stopped to make sure her hubby was a sharp dressed man. He totally appreciated it. I then joined the guys for some pre-wedding activity. They are a fun bunch for sure. And Shawn? He's just so dang cute.
Meanwhile, back at the girls place...well, you know, girls and shoes.
And HELLO pretty shoes! Fun times everywhere! Felling pretty, feeling dressed up and ready for some dancing! Jessica in the circle of approval. :)
YES, please. I'll take a shot of that below. I LOVE this shot! Pretty legs, pretty girl. Pretty garter. Oh, almost forgot. Garter handmade by Holly, one of her crafty bridesmaids. LOVE. AND she altered a dress or two as well. Hello, pretty bride! And yes, that's her room it's hanging in on the right. She shared with me how she picked out the chandelier and carpet for her room. LOVE. So cool to come full circle to her wedding day and there's her dress hanging in that room. LOVE stuff like this!Hello cute little flower girl. She's soooo cute!Hello, TCU girls! Gotta get their Hornfrogs on!Okay, a quick word about family formals. Yes, clothes, hair and makeup are important and YES I took a more formal portrait, but I LOVE the feel of this short below. It's so sweet and just warms my heart. This is Jessica and her daddy. She's the baby of the family. So much love in this image below! And hello pretty couple. I quickly fell in love with Jessica's mom. She's graceful, takes great care of her family and home and even better, the woman can dance. HELLO! She jammed all over that floor with her handkerchief to that Louisiana music! She's a great example of a what a STRONG, POWERFUL WOMAN can do with her life and do it with grace. OH, be still my heart little man. We called him the Skittles man. I had just taken his Skittles away right before I took this shot. His patience was wearing. A moment before the ceremony and mom plopped down in the BEST light. Couldn't resist.
Congrats Happy Couple!
It was so cute. They took off down the hallway to wait out the exiting crowd before entering back into the church for family formals. People were walking by congratulating them and I loved it! They were loving it as well. An audience!
Many Congrats to the Rule + Lawrence families!
Love does,
Kristin
