the one where I photographed the volleyball team

I didn't make it to Meet The Pirates. Can you believe that? I've gone for 7 years in a row and I didn't make it this week. I feel so out of the loop. SO. Not to mention, GUILTY. I miss my PIRATES! But then Coach Pesterfield called a few days later and asked me to photograph the JV and Freshman squads for the programs and I said, "heck yeah!"

The Varsity Squad had already been photographed by one of my favorite Cooper girls, Alexandra. I totally ripped this shot off her facebook page. Totally. How cute are those hats?!?! Nice job, Alexandra!

But hello! JV and Freshman are HOT, too! They are playing this weekend, so maybe I can scoot over to Frenship to watch a game and photograph. I sure hope so!

Since the photo above was taken, Senior Kaitlyn Stewart has injured her leg and is out for the season. Only way to describe that, SUCKS. I realize this will give underclassman and opportunity to step up and play, but gosh, her senior year?!?! NOT FUN. I hope these girls go far this year! If I don't make tomorrow's game, I'll be there the next home one!
