the one where sarah loves marshall

Sarah and Marshall were married Saturday in a big Catholic Wedding in Wall, Texas. I was simply lucky enough to photograph the event with my partner in photography and crime, Toni. The people of Wall are good Texas folks with a bit of country twang mixed in. This was definitely a community affair and a grand one at that!

Enjoy the sneak peek!

Love,
Kristin

We began the day at the bride's house. All the ladies arrived at various times and were pampered beyond belief. Hair, nails, food and drinks. Did I mention food? Oh, yeah. By ladies, I mean me, too. The food part, that is. Of course a big favorite of mine during the day is photographing the rings. And Marshall and Sarah did not disappoint. HELLO pretty rings!

And HELLO pretty wedding gown! I'm in LOVE with the flowers on this gown! I love it when folks can all be together getting ready. The bride's house was wonderful for that. Lots of laughter and discussion and stories. And lots of pretty little girls running around. Have I told you about all the pretty little girls? HELLO! Sarah had 7 little girls in pretty white dresses. They were flower girls and bell ringers. ADORABLE! They were there having their nails done, playing matching games, just enjoying each other.

Being beautiful is sometimes painful.LOTS of love in this house!Sarah has the most perfectly formed lips. PERFECT.GORGEOUS! A beautiful bride and an adorable little girls in wonderful little dresses. I begged them over and over to twirl for me!

Sarah's flowers were very romantic and vintage. A wonderful elegant feel. LOVED the bling she included in the bride's bouquet!

And then there was Marshall. Did you know his name means fun in Kristin talk? Yep. I made that up, but the boy is total fun. Everywhere he goes is this laugh he has and soon you are joining right in. He's Sarah's, but a part of me wishes I could put him in my pocket and pull him out when I was ready to laugh. Can you spot the tie that's different than the others? Almost time to rumble! Handing out programs means the bride is almost here! The church choir sang during the service and I loved the light streaming in from the balcony. They had a string group up there as well, so space was limited. And you know how a space feels when it's crowded. And it's summer time. And it's July. Sarah's dad waited at the back for her.But first, we had to watch all the pretty little girls head down the aisle. And how pretty they are!

And you remember Mr. Squeezer. LOVE this shot!

And after the bell ringers, it was time! Time for the bride!

GORGEOUS!Love the attitude coming off this one below. We had father's come out our ears. Lots of HOLY going on around here. And they are married!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!! The shot below right? Sarah has a photograph of her Mom and Dad in a photo just like this. How cool is that?Okay, you two. Stop being so dang HOT. Come on! You've only been married, what? 15 minutes at this point?Cool wedding shots deserve a cool bit of shade. It was at least 100 degrees after mass. This ladies and gentlemen, is the FUN BUNCH.

This is the "fun bunch" part 2. GORGEOUS cake! GORGEOUS couple! And then we danced!

Have you ever been to a grand march? I have and it's so much fun!For everyone! And then it was time for the Father Daughter dance. OMGEEEEEEEEEEEE! Sarah and her dad had planned a routine to the tune of Footloose. It was a complete surprise for everyone including most of her family. The crowd went WILD! I went wild!!!! I was screaming in between shots. LOL

So much fun! It was a great day! I'm so ready for another Wall, wedding. Anyone getting married in Wall anytime soon? INVITE ME! I'll bring Toni.
