Jace, a senior session, Slaton 2012

I always encourage families to take a few images when we are shooting their graduate. After all, once they leave for college the dynamics of the family they've known change. And many times, these kids find love and then the dynamics DEFINITELY change.

Meet, the Jones Family. They live in my hometown of Slaton. I was thrilled when Jace's mom contacted me to photograph his senior session. Somewhere in the archives I have photos of him in one of his first baseball uniforms at the clubhouse by the ivy wall in the city park. Somewhere. Maybe I can dig that out later? His sisters are older and living away from home, but I was so happy they made the effort to take a few images before we set out on Jace's photo shoot. I LOVE the way they turned out.

Here's a sneak peek of our afternoon together. He's a total stud in front of the camera! Of course I had plenty of help from his beautiful sisters to bring out the best in him.

Enjoy!
