Merry Christmas
I had to share a few of our Christmas decorations.
The house is quiet. Santa came! I can see the presents all laid neatly out. He doesn't wrap. And I'm trying to remain happy and positive about the day and everything else in this busy crazy year of ours, but a part of me isn't happy. A huge part of me is just plain tired.
Christmas is work folks.
Lots of it.
But I think the payoff is HUGE.
It can be.
I'm excited to spend the day tomorrow with family. They are Devin's family, but they are family none the less, and we will have a fun day.
We have some new ornaments this year.
Davida gave the girl's some adorable ornaments.
This one is my favorite! Such a cute little bug!
Poor Ernie.
That's how I feel.
Completely trapped and tied up. I wanna fly away and lay on a beach, but no, cooking, cleaning, even more wrapping.
I can't run away just yet.
And we really need a large tree in this house, but I love our tree all the same.
Although I can't find our wooden tree star ornaments. I found the tree topper, but where are the rest?
Hmmm..
And I LOVE our fruit loop garland. I do need to make more.
Maybe tomorrow morning while the kids play with their new toys?
I have a few ornaments I wanted to try and make as well.
I like trees that are fun and cute and have meaning to them.
LIke the snow man ornament below.
Kalyn made that in Mrs. Cook's class at St. Jospeh. Still one of my favorite ornaments to hang each year.
Oh, and guess who got all craft with Pinterest?
I thought this might hang on my fireplace, but it found a home here instead.
I like it.
A few more colorful places around the fireplace.
The wreath that needs to hang on our front door.
It never made it.
And another favorite of mine.
Pinecones from our old house in the country that I spray painted and placed in a glass jar.
I like.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
