oh the joy!
Okay, so I've been waxing a bit poetic because my babies are balling it together. Yes, I know. I can't totally go all sweet on my blog here. But you know I don't brag much about them. Okay, strike that. I do brag some about them, but I brag about lots here.
My clients.
Their love.
Their weddings.
People cute kids.
etc.
But as I watch my girls play, and watch the Lady Pirates play, I'm court side with them a lot before, during and after the game. I don't talk to them much. It's not my place. But we lock eyes all the time, and many of them have developed a sign language to let me know they know I'm watching them. Photograph them. Take silly pictures. I LOVE watching this team play, but heck, I just love watching them period. They each are so unique in their play and their personalities. You spend as much time watching them as I do, and you almost know what they'll do on the court in a situation before they do it. I LOVE watching them play!
I love photographing them even more.
We finished the Frenship Tip-Off Classic and our weekend is wrapping up. Kalyn has a heavy weekend of homework and close to a mini-break down if I don't go in there and tell her a joke or something. She simply needs some NOTHING time. No one pulling or expecting much. Just goofing time. School is hard to juggle with basketball and her youth groups and commitments. I worry and pray that everything works out.
Summer? She's finished with homework but worried about confirmation and how she can make the commitments and still play basketball. I know it's a priority in her life. BOTH. Can't we figure out a way to do both?
I pray that we can.
Me?

But if there was a game today...
