Instagram Friday
I've been brainstorming on my road trip to Alicia and Brad's wedding weekend and thought of a new weekly blog post to break up all the sports posts.
I mean how much Cooper can a blog reader handle? Huh?
So, here's the details.
Every week I will post my most recent personal photos I've taken with my iPhone and chat a little bit about just what this girl's been doing. FYI, I love Instagram. If you have an iPhone, get it. Such a great way to share your personal photos.
Aren't you excited?! Ummm. Well after you get a view of my utterly boring week, you may find yourself skipping Friday's on your daily visits.
Okay, these are posting in reverse. But that's OK. I took the shot above while getting the oil changed in Kalyn's car. I'm taking it out of town and we were a few miles over that sticker they place on your wind sheild. At Bolton's, they treat you right. They give you something to drink and wash your window. I sure wish they would vacuum it out as well. Gosh, can you imagine? That alone would be worth an extra 5$. I hope you read this dudes at Bolton's.
One of Kalyn's friends wrote this on her car this week. Seems to be the thing among the youth. So, I thought I should snap a photo before they washed it off, just in case she get's a bit peeved. Don't worry Miss Marie, I got you covered.
I was delivering an album to Allison and Google maps totally had her address screwed up. Allison, if you are reading this, they had you over there in those BIG houses in the Falls. No biggie, Lubbock is simple to navigate and I found her home, but how cute is her front porch? So, I snapped a photo and texted her so she would know her album was waiting for her!
And you know how hard it was to leave that beautiful album there? I wanted to keep it and sniff that 3/4 leather binding. Oh, gosh, it smelled like new car!
I spend a lot of time with this little girl, so Instargram Friday may always feature Miss Kanga. She is always by my side. Since I've spent so much time at the video store lately, she's really sticking close when I'm at home. It's hard not to take a photo of this pretty lady.
The above three photos are from the Diabetes Walk out at McKenzie Park. It was great seeing old friends and even better getting my booty up and moving! I got to walk with my good friend Cari up there, top picture and we enjoyed catching up and just talking. Thank you, Cari for walking with me and making that hill, not quite so bad.
The other two? John Getz who is our AWESOME STUCO PREZ out at Cooper, and Summer Zoe. I swear I'll be voting for this guy someday. Just a great personality and someone you just want to be around. Keep up the great work, John and I can't wait to photograph the STUCO. Call me soon to get our dates lined up. And let me know when you run for office. I'd like to be a part of that campaign.
Remember, these are in reverse, OK. The pictures. I was blogging from my iPhone and the Wordpress Ap and am not very used to that. But if I'm going to make this a weekly thing, then I had better get this bad boy figured out. We watched the NFL football game on the 10 year anniversary of 911, (kinda glad NY won...come on.) and this is a photo of that HUGE flag they rolled out. Did you see that? Very cool moment.
I was not feeling very great that day and was on the couch for most of it. Meg + Allen got married the day before and on Sunday's I pretty much take the day off with the feet up. So, after church, I hit the couch and stayed glued to the History channel. So many good programs were on remembering that day. It was mostly a low key mood until that 4th Q of the football game. HELLO! Great game. HELLO! Not good Romo. But he's kinda made up for it since then. No?
And, that brings us to my last photo. Which I blogged about earlier.
So, do you use Instagram? Do you have lots of photos on your iPhone that need sharing? I just feel this will be a great way to share my week with you and kind of make me maybe us my phone more.
Hope you have a great weekend.
