the one where Chelsey + Trey get married at First United Methodist Church in Lubbock

I could talk for hours about this wedding and if I see you in the next few days, I probably will. I LOVE talking about weddings and all the fun things that go on at them. This one was NOT exception! FUN FUN FUN!

First of all, everyone needs a Chelsey in their life. Right now. RUN and find a Chelsey because not only will your life be filled with style and charm, it will be filled with a girl that speaks from the heart and immediately becomes your friend. She has that way with people.

First the details. Chelsey's dress was perfect for her! I've had several Amsale dresses over the years and they do NOT disappoint. Of course her's was a bit tricky in the zipper department, but it didn't take us long to figure it out.

In the next few days, I'll be sharing a vendor's link here on my blog, bragging about all the fine folks I've worked with before. I do have my favorites and will happily suggest them to people, however, so many of my weddings are on the road and working with new vendors. So, blog readers, feel free to share your favorites as well. It so helps when planning to have someone who's dealt with this before.

We started the day with a wonderful luncheon at The Women's Club. HELLO! Yummy sauce on chicken was amazing! I wish I knew what it was because I practically liked my plate, but whatever it was, go get you some! LOL All the girls wore hats, and I tried to as well, however, it kept getting in the way of my camera, so I ditched it.

I always learn a little something from each and every bride, and Chelsey did not disappoint. Her skin ALWAYS looks amazing every time I see her, but especially lately and several peeps asked her what she was using and I got the scoop so I bought some myself. Estee Lauder Day Wear is da BOMB! I've been wearing it all week and LOVE IT! Thank you, Chelsey.

I will also say that the girls at the Clinique counter really went out of their way to help a bridesmaid out. One of Chelsey's bridesmaids HATED her hair after she got it done. Not all of the design, but much of the design. And was just having a bad day but didn't want to complain too much, you know after all, it's not her day. But the girl at the counter picked up on the vibe and redid the front of her hair after doing Chelsey's makeup. And did it well! Saved the day and the mood for that bridesmaid, that's for sure.

Another noted detail that I don't know much about is Chelsey's garter. Maybe she'll comment and let us know, but the garter she wore was very old and worn 100's of times before. She even signed her name in a book. Texas bride's I believe, but a very cool tradition that she got from her grandmother. Another thing worn all day that sooooo impressed me. Chelsey's Jimmy Choos! HELLO! A girl after my own heart, she never took them off and even danced and danced! BRAVO!!!! When you watch the slideshow below you will see that she changed before leaving and even wore them with outfit number 2! Very cool!

And this group of peeps? PARTY! I've never seen so many people dancing and enjoying the night! Yes I was stepped on, hit on and danced with, and I loved every minute of it! Well, maybe not every minutes, but overall? VERY FUN NIGHT!

Enough talk from me, I know you want to see this gorgeous wedding! Much thanks goes out to my partner in crime, Toni Spray! Not only my best friend, but a dang good 2nd shooter to boot!
