Trey + Andrea, a wedding at CTK
Ceremony: Christ the King Cathedral
Reception: Stadium Club @ Texas Tech
Hair: Panache
Oh, I soooooo needed a wedding! After losing our softball game to Burkburnett on Friday, an escape was definitely needed. I was so glad it was finally time for Andrea and Trey's BIG FAT CATHOLIC WEDDING!!
I started the day with Andrea at the salon. She's so low maintence. Mom was on hand to watch the activity.
I have fond memories of this church. All the years of my kids going to St. Joseph in Slaton, CTK was a HUGE part of our lives. We played ball here, we cheered here, we went to mass here. A great place to have a wedding as the church is simply beautiful! Plus, I love father Ben's Homily regarding weddings. I've heard it several times, and it's never the same, yet it is. It always touches my heart and makes me smile. This picture below shows a GREAT view of the church entrance.
The shot above is of a figure on top of the altar. I love this. LOVE!
Trey was having a great time getting ready with his guys!
You know how tux pockets are sewn shut? I think it was bothering the ring bearer.
Oh, the pictures I have of this Olds. Is it an Olds? I can't remember? But the registration is their wedding date. We thought that was pretty cool.
HEAVEN. Pure heaven!
On the eyes. They didn't last long on the feet. But oh, can Calvin design a pretty pair of shoes!
And it's time for the DRESS! Andrea did not disappoint. Her dress was GORGEOUS!!!!
I had to include these two. FUNNY! No, she's fine with marrying Trey, but the heat and weight of this dress were getting to her. LOVE THIS!
Oh, Chloe. How you warm the heart with those adorable cheeks.
And they're OFF!See what I told you? BEAUTIFUL LIGHT!And they are married!
We had some time between the church and reception to go and play. I was so happy. so so happy.
Okay, so I quit giving commentary because I'm watching a movie while editing, while posting to the blog. WHEW! I wear myself out.
You can view more of this AWESOME wedding by clicking here. The pass word is the bride and groom's last names, lowercase, smushed together.
AND on a side note, if you have called me or facebooked me in the last 2 days, I lost my phone and have been avoiding it to play catch up. Please be patient. I will return your call in the next few days. I'm working on some breathing room.
Life is great.
Life is busy.
