Still #1

It was cold yesterday. VERY COLD. But we braved the weather and the girls did AWESOME! Beating Lamesa last night secured their #1 Spot in District!!! HELLO!!! We need some "Woo Hoo's" for the Lubbock Cooper Pirates!!!!!!

As for their "official sports photographer", she's doing better. I'm anticipating the girls hits and following and tracking focus wise pretty darn good. I still make TONS of mistakes and trash the majority of what I shoot. But for the most part, I'm improving every game and that's a goal I've set for myself.

Okay, this is kinda a cool thing each game. The girls wear matching bows in their ponytails. We've gathered quite a collection and it's our turn on Saturday.

Amanda caught a BEAST of a hit for the 3rd out and it was such a cool moment. Notice the shot I'm sharing with you? Yep. I didn't get the action shot. Totally out of focus. Oh, well. You know me, EMOTIONAL SHOOTER. At least I got the celebration!

LOOK HOW CLOSE!!!! Bailey hustled, but came up short. I had to include this shot in my blog post because the girl was trying!!! Of course, I'm trying to figure out why there are 2 girls from Lamesa on first base? What's up with that? Oh, wait...the batter and the runner. Got it. Needless to say, there was a bit of stuff to get around to come and try for that out.

And Hanna hit another Home Run! WOO HOO!!!
