We're still in Prosper, staying with family while the Varsity Lady Pirates play in the Nevada City tournament. It's been pretty fun watching the girls and enjoying the family, but today we have downtime until the game, so I'm hanging out in the dining room working. I was designing a Christmas card when I realized I hadn't blogged the game photos from Tuesday night.
See that shot above of Summer Zoe spread eagle on the court? The refs let the game wildly get out of hand. That shot is after the foul, but she was brining the ball down the court and a girl definitely fouled her (pushed her) and she went flying. Here's a shot of the injury from sliding courtside for 20 feet on a hip bone. Lovely huh?
I love this shot below! I almost didn't keep it because it's a bit soft. The focus is on Jordan in the background. I'm learning to track the girls better, but I had to keep it based on the looks from that defender. She's trying everything to will this girl (Summer) to miss that lay up! LOL She didn't, but not for lack of trying on the defender's part. LOL
After JV, Varsity played. It never ceases to bring me joy to watch my Kalyn Marie start on Cooper's Court! Woo Hoo! Just look at that face!!! AND guess who else started her first VARSITY game Tuesday night?
TAYLA MOSSER!!!!
Woo HOO!
And I just threw this one in here of Kaitlyn because she's always happy, too. You will see a ton of images from Kaitlyn in this post because she was high scorer and my lens just snapped away.
Great game, Lady Pirates! I'm having a blast watching you play basketball and "sing" over here in the Dallas area! (More on that later....or if you are a facebook fan, go watch the video on my facebook page. LOL)
Take care,
