Katie + Kevin, the rehearsal
I'm in San Angelo! I drove down yesterday, listening to Glenn Beck discuss Benjamin Franklin on Fox News Radio. HELLO! Did you know the old guy used to do aerobics in his front room, with WINDOWS open to the street, get this, in the NUDE? Something about his heart rate. WOW! I learned more about my founding father than I ever want to know. EVER!
But back to rehearsal. Tomorrow, the wedding day, it's supposed to be, get this, 105 degrees!!! And the reception is at Fort Concho, I believe, with no air-conditioning. Oh, my! Can you say stinky photographer? I know that heat won't matter. I'll drink plenty of water, and with this group, it will be fine. They are so much fun!
Last night, as a surprise, Katie gave Kevin a gift. A surprise gift as they planned not to exchange. She got him a guitar, a very nice guitar that he really loved and the emotion was too much and he cried. They both did! And 1/2 their guests! He was so surprised and grabbed his knees. You can see it in the slideshow. It was just a great moment.
This is how I know I will be OK today in the heat. When peeps love from the heart and entirely with their whole beings, 105 degrees doesn't matter.
I'm sorry about the order of photos on this blog, I have no idea why they didn't post in order. When I get home to a bigger laptop, I'll try and figure that out. If anyone reading knows what I'm doing wrong, please comment.
