I always love the sessions where I get to spend time with a newborn. It’s the BEST! They smell all fresh, you get your baby fix on without having to change a diaper. You get to see and play with all the new stuff! It’s just the BEST. Baby Sage Caroline was no exception. She is welcomed into this family with so much love!

When photographing new babies, I always try and get all the relationships. From siblings, to mom + dad, ALL OF THEM! I also offer sessions through baby’s first year at a discounted rate. It just makes sense to capture all those changes they go through and typically finish up at the one year birthday! I truly love getting to spend time with these families and watch their precious kids grow!

Oh, and most newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. and I know what you are thinking. No way. It’s a mess. Diapers and bottles everywhere! But remember, babies are small and I only need a little bit of window light. This session took place on a snowy, cloudy day in the living room with one window to the south. YEP. Did I tell you I am a “professional light chaser”?
